They spoke at the 2012 People in Energy Summit at the Hilton Americas in Houston, TX on November 26, 2012
The presentation reviewed case studies of companies who have successfully turned their recruiting organizations from cost centers to profit centers. The Summit featured two tracks in order to address the two main talent issues facing the industry in today’s global economy. The first track focused on the recruitment and development of a skilled and knowledgeable workforce that is able to lead and sustain operational growth. The second track acknowledged how the brain drain and the arrival of a new generation of industry workers pose a specific set of operational challenges and explored the incidence of human factors in health, safety and environmental performance.
