John Younger, CEO of Accolo Talks Advantages of RPO in Live Webinar

Recruiting Process Outsourcing (RPO) providers have been in business for about 20 years. But experts are finding that many companies are still reluctant to use RPO.

john-younger-2015.pngJohn Younger, CEO of Accolo, the San Francisco based Cloud Recruiting(R) leader, explains why.

“There’s just so little awareness or understanding of how RPO actually works to benefit companies. There’s a fear of losing staff or control in the HR or recruiting functions in general. And to top it off, uncertainty about how to make a case to senior management about making the change”, says Younger.

On Thursday, March 24 at @ 12ET/9PT, Younger will be presenting a webinar in partnership with the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Association (RPOA) to address many of these concerns among others.

“There’s just so little awareness or understanding of how RPO actually works to benefit companies. There’s a fear of losing staff or control in the HR or recruiting functions in general."

One of the reasons that prompted Younger to present this talk was the extensive amount of time jobs were remaining on the market.

“Too many jobs are staying open for more than 60 days and that hurts a company's ability to execute and negatively impacts the lives of the people who would benefit from being in those positions. By incorporating RPO into the HR function, the recruiting and hiring effectiveness usually results in measureable improvements in time-to-fill, while increasing fit and retention of new hires”, Younger said.

Younger’s talk is titled, “Time to Consider Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO): How to Turn Your HR Function into a Strategic Executive Resource”.

The online talk is open for anyone to attend through the registration link at rpoassociation.org. The content is aimed at executives overseeing the human resources function.

But anyone that want’s a deeper understanding of RPO would greatly benefit from attending.

“Usually, the less successful RPO engagements can typically be tied back directly to procedural, structural or contractual issues at the beginning of an RPO relationship. That being said, education is empowering for all parties involved”, says Younger.

The talk promises to cover a range of topics. From why you you should consider RPO as an option to how to establish a lasting relationship.
