Kevin Wheeler, a human resources author and futurist, will share the latest insights on artificial intelligence and evolving technologies that are reshaping the landscape of global recruitment practices. The RPOA provides virtual events throughout the year to educate members on AI risks, opportunities, and governance. We continue this educational role at the conference with additional insights from Kevin and the participation of RPOA technology sponsors.
We're thrilled to welcome Maria Scarangella, consultant and former GEICO executive leader. Share her proprietary cost analysis model for assessing talent sourcing strategies.
Chief analyst Ben Eubanks will share key data from the recent 2024 RPOA and Lighthouse study. Additionally, Ben will moderate the panel "The Delicate Balance of The Modern Talent Acquisition Leader," featuring insights from Sarah Peiker, Kelly Burlage, Rob Navarrette, and Trent Cotton. In recognition of the conference theme, resilience leadership, Kristen Fox Lampert and Suzie Mitchell will lead the "Mental Fitness for HR Leaders" session, focusing on enhancing resilience and leadership skills among talent acquisition leaders.
New to the RPOA Annual Conference this year, we'll feature a critical session on "What RPO Leaders Should Know about Mergers and Acquisitions." Moderated by Joe Marino, the session will feature panelists Bill Filip, Pam Verhoff, and Dwight Cooper, providing a deep dive into the M&A landscape within the RPO sector.
The conference will begin with an optional Sunday social activity, where attendees can take a two-hour guided ghost and gangster tour of Chicago. On Monday, we are hosting a social reception followed by an optional dine-around-Chicago dinner experience.
Additionally, attendees will benefit from the unique opportunity to engage in peer-to-peer discussions during a facilitated breakout. The RPOA offers virtual peer forums for corporate members throughout the year. The conference allows forum members and guests to meet in person building on their virtual meetings. "I currently belong to a peer group in RPOA, and I really enjoy having a 'safe' forum where we can talk about what we are all seeing in the industry," said an RPOA forum member. "It not only helps to see what challenges and wins everyone is having, but I also come away from the call with a different perspective on how to approach situations that I am dealing with in my company and with our clients."
